After their Malaysian fanmeeting, Hyun Joong along with other "Boys Over Flowers" cast headed to Yokohama, Japan last September 6 for another event. He was said to be having symptoms of fever during the meet and was unable to continue on with promotions on the 6th.
On September 7th, as they were heading to the airport, he was immediately rushed to the hospital after developing high fever and was declared positive for swine flu.
He is now undergoing medcal treatment and his health condition has been improving as well.
The other SS501 members and also the Boys Over Flowers cast will undergo test for the flu immediately since they were mostly in contact with Hyun Joong along that timeline.
